The founder
Jason Kaylor
I spent years as a guide in wilderness and adventure therapy, taking people into the backcountry who were facing their own reckoning, and staying with them through what came after. I learned that real change doesn’t come from willpower or good advice. It comes from an environment demanding enough that old habits stop working, with someone steady beside you.
I now carry that principle through water instead of wilderness, as a Divemaster and instructor across Curaçao, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Catalina, Hawaii and California. I’ll be the one in the water with you. This isn’t a program I built and handed off.

Our method
The diving is real. The difference is what happens around it.
Breath
Regulate first
Day one starts with a single breathing routine that helps the body shift out of stress and into calm. Every dive after builds on it.
Brief
Plan as a team
Every dive starts with a team briefing: clear roles, agreed signals, and a readiness check-in where anyone can say they’re not ready.
Debrief
Say what actually happened
After every dive, a structured debrief: what happened, what went well, and what the team will do differently next time.

Safety & credentials
The part most programs bury.
Instruction
Certified, to standard
Taught by a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer, also certified to teach divers of different physical abilities, following PADI standards at every step. Real water, real conditions, no theatrics.
Experience
1,000+ logged dives
Across Curaçao, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Catalina, Hawaii and the California coast, including cold water, kelp and surge.
Screening
Medical clearance first
Standard RSTC medical screening for every participant, with physician sign-off where indicated. Emergency action planning follows California dive operation practice.
Certification is the floor. The work is everything above it.
Cohorts are small and start with a real conversation. If this sounds right for you or your team, the next step is a short call, not a form. Now booking 2027. Military and veteran discount available.
